Coach Gassman was a 4x All- Gwinnett County team selection in high school. He won 4 Region Championships and was a 2x State Placer (3rd/5th).
At the University of Georgia, he competed in the National Collegiate Wrestling Association and won the 118lb National Championship in 1998.
He previously coached at Collins Hill and assisted the team in winning 6 State Championships while finishing in the top3 in state for 7 years.
Coach Gassman's wife's name is Monica.

B.S.ed Georgia Southern University
Coach Colley is a graduate of Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain. While in high school, he wrestled JV and Varsity in the 189 and 215 weight classes. Coach Colley graduated from Georgia Southern University in Fall 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Technology Education. He is currently working on his Master's Degree in Workforce Education. For the past 6 years, Coach Colley has been coaching in several different arenas including Step, Little League football, and Martial Arts.
Coach Colley's wife's name is Nikki.

Bortles
Assistant Coach
Coach Bortles has coached at McIntosh, Newnan, and Wheeler high schools throughout his career. He also is a highly experienced wrestling official that has officiated many Georgia State Wrestling Tournaments. Coach Bortles was inducted into the Georgia Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2005 and is presently on the board of the Georgia Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. He also serves on a committee to increase the college wrestling opportunities in Georgia by meeting with state colleges to encourage them to create wrestling programs. He has helped start up programs at Shorter University, Truett McConnell and Brewton-Parker College.
Coach Bortle's wife's name is Laura and has a daughter named Brooke.

Larry
Rogers
Assistant Coach

Coach Rogers comes to us as a former head coach at South Gwinnett High School. He has been a teacher and coach at South since 2005. He teaches biology.
Larry was a four year varsity letterman at Shiloh HS under Coach Steve West. He was a two-time All-County member and placed 4th in state.
He has also been a high school wrestling official with the Metro Atlanta Wrestling Officials Association.
Coach Roger's wife is named Eve.
